Trip/fall accidents

Trip accident: If you have been injured due to trip/fall accident on a public pathway due to a broken paving slab or uneven ground then you may be entitled to claim compensation.

If you have suffered injury as a result of slipping on wet floor then you may be entitled to claim. Slip accident can occur in various public places. For example if you slip on wet floor in a local supermarket or a fast food restaurant and suffer an injury as a result of this slip accident then you may claim compensation. It is important to report this accident to the management or staff of the place you have slipped.

Under the law the management of public places have to keep a safe environment for their visitors. They have a legal duty of care. If they breach this duty of care then they are ultimately liable to pay compensation.
